Janče is the highest peak of Ljubljana municipality (784m). The hill village of Janče offers beautiful views of Slovenian hills and mountains, from Mount Triglav, Slovenia's highest mountain, across the Karawanken Mountains and Kamnik Alps.
Strings of farms located along the trails offer traditional Slovenian fare, farm produce such as strawberries, cherries, peaches, plums, apples, honey and sweet chestnuts, and homemade pastries, schnapps, fruit juices, salami and sausages.
