The road follows the flat part of the Ljubljana fields. The roads are not traffic. A little more traffic only is to be expected in vicinity of Domžale and Kamnik. The last part of the road runs along with the river Kamniška Bistrica, but without significant climbs. Grade: Medium – mostly flat, longer distance.
The road will lead us through the valley of Lusttal, which means the valley of joy and delight. It's name has been linked with Dol Manor in the past, where you can visit Dol park Pavilions.
A little further from Radomlje you can make a stop and take time to visit the golf course and the botanical garden called Arboretum Volčji Potok. It supports 4,500 perennial flower, bush and tree species from around the world.
The road continues past the medieval town of Kamnik to the source of Kamniška Bistrica where you can soak feet in the ice cold mountain river.
