Cycle description:
At first the road follows the river Sava and Ljubljanica to Zalog, where we turn left towards Sostro. A little further there are two short but steep climbs to the village Orle where opens a beautiful view on the Ljubljana Marshes. The last part of the road is crossing Ljubljana Marshes to the Podpeško jezero Lake.
Grade: Medium – mostly flat, some hill climbs at most 1,5 km.

On our trip we will cross the Ljubljana Marshes which is a 160 square kilometre wetland area stretching along the southern and south-eastern part of the Ljubljana Basin.
The area's numerous wetlands and peat bogs, which formed due to tectonic plate movement, provide home to numerous rare and interesting plants and animals, particularly bird and game species. Under Krim, between the hills of St. Ana and St. Lovrenc, the settlement Jezero is situated.
By it lies a small, almost completely round lake (maximum depth 51 m), supplied by seven karst springs under the nearby forest. During summer a small bath is organized on the lake and fishing is also possible.
